Ministry is much more than a program. Any programs or events in which we engage may most certainly change, grow or re-focus as God leads and gives passion and mission to individuals & leaders.
Wherever you are in life, you matter and you have a purpose. We want to help you become the person God has created you to be. Your journey has a next step and we'll help you find it. It could start with serving, finding God's vision for your life, giving, or joining us regularly.
You may be thinking, “Ministry is a pastor’s job.” The truth is, that’s my job as a Christian, but my job as a pastor is to equip you to do ministry. Ephesians 4:11–12 tells us, “And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” Jesus gave pastors to the church, and as a pastor, my purpose is to equip you for the work of the ministry. If we are going to change the world, we need every saint to be equipped for the ministry.
So, how do you get equipped to do the work of the ministry?
1. You must be available.
2. You must be a servant.
3. You are a minister.
“Are you available? Are you willing to be a servant?” If you’ll make yourself available and become a servant, then we can equip you for the work of the ministry. It’s time to jump in and be a minister wherever you are.
Prayer & Bible Band
The mission of Prayer and Bible Band is to encourage individuals and families to build their
spiritual lives through the study of God’s Word, combined with prayer, with the expectation that following the instructions given in the Word, they will be able to lead others to Christ.
Consistent prayer and Bible study will keep us in a posture of worship, another aspect of our relationship with God vital to our life of following Christ.
Women's Ministry
Our Women's Ministry is all about helping other women to come to Christ and grow in Christ. It's about encouraging people to understand the gospel, respond to the gospel and apply the gospel to every aspect of life. And that happens when women engage with God through his Word and prayer, in the community of the local church.
Evangelism
Evangelism is sharing the priceless gift of God’s grace and forgiveness so others can have a relationship with Jesus now, and in Heaven.
Youth Ministry
The Bethlehem Youth Ministry is a place where our students and families are loved, encouraged, challenged, and strengthened as they grow in their faith. Our youth ministries include infants all the way through college students.
Our primary goal is to help youth develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by providing them the resources to grow in worship, ground them in the Word, and give them opportunities to witness and serve others. We also give them the skills and the support groups they need to make wise decisions at this critical time in their lives.
Hospitality Ministry
The mission of the hospitality ministry is to provide a welcoming environment of love, acceptance, comfort, support, care, and unity for visitors, members, guests, and friends in order to enhance their worship experience, encourage fellowship, and help build a community of believers.
The hospitality ministry serves to reflect the love of Christ through expressions of gratitude, excitement, and enthusiasm.
Outreach Ministry
The purpose of the Outreach Ministry is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone we meet; through personal witnessing, and the sharing the Word of God. To provide spiritual, educational, and social events and activities throughout the community that will promote Godly relationships. To equip individuals to serve one another; first within their families, communities, our nation, and throughout the world.
